A look back at my early days in a marketing agency over a decade ago. Those designs from the early 2010s weren’t exactly top-notch (let’s just say, this period is known as a dark time for Graphic Design), but it highlights how long I’ve been in the game of social media management and marketing agencies.

Cubo Click

Cubo Click started in 2012 as a website selling office supplies, a first of its kind in Argentina, brought to life by Util-of.

What I did: I managed their social media as a Community Manager, creating posts and images for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ (Remember when Google had this awkward social media back then? I feel old now).

Looking back, it’s funny to see how young I was then and how much social media has changed since. Sorry for the not-so-great graphics – let’s just say, tastes were way different back in the early 2010s! I’m glad the Frutiger Aero era has finished!.

Reflecting on this job now, it reminds me to take my work seriously but also have some fun with it. I might not have taken it as seriously as I should’ve back then, let’s be honest, but it’s clear how much I’ve improved since. This was also the first time I worked in a Marketing Agency, and I am immensily happy for all of what I learned from Juan Pablo and Emilce, two amazing professionals and managers. I looked after Cubo Click’s socials from 2012 to mid-2013, which was a big learning curve for me.

Even after good results, it was after this project that I learned that I had to knuckle down, step up my game, and take my career seriously if I ever wanted to be really good at what I do. It was a huge lesson to grasp, especially at such a young age (wasn't even 20 yet).
